Expanded Collborations and Formats

Looking beyond its first edition, 1 Director 50 Posters is designed to adapt across various formats and venues through new collaborations with institutions in both the film and design industries.

The exhibition can be reimagined as a traveling show hosted by arthouse cinemas such as Metrograph or Film Forum, where it complements director retrospectives or thematic film series. Posters can be displayed in lobby spaces, creating visual dialogue between the exhibition and the screenings.

Collaborations with film distributors like Janus Films or Kino Lorber open opportunities for the posters to accompany re-releases or restorations as part of campaign materials or pop-up exhibitions.

On the digital side, partnerships with curated streaming platforms like MUBI or The Criterion Channel allow the exhibition to live online—reinterpreted as interactive features, alternative thumbnails, or editorial takeovers during director spotlights. These formats increase accessibility while retaining the curatorial depth of the physical show.

By remaining flexible in form but consistent in focus, 1 Director 50 Posters positions itself as a modular and repeatable model that can embed into multiple cultural ecosystems—expanding its audience while preserving its identity.
